British Ports Association AGM & Lunch

A team of representatives from the Newhaven Port management team attended the British Ports Association Annual AGM and lunch , which was held at the prestigious Guild Hall in the City of London, on 28 April.  Dave Collins-Williams (Port Manager), Kevin Holmes (Port Engineering Manager), Gary Milan (Safety, Health , Environment and Operations  Manager), Mark Beaver (Finance Manager) and Conor Hudson (Deputy Harbour Master ) convened to attend the AGM and to take part in the voting in of new officers before heading into the historic main hall for the address by the Chair of the association and lunch.

Gary Milan said, “This was a great opportunity to meet colleagues from fellow ports and the maritime sector, both national and international, and to discuss issues such as decarbonisation, electrification of infrastructure, hybridisation of vessels and funding to name but a few”.
